Our Mission

Action for Asperger’s (AfA) is a UK-wide, award winning registered charity providing autism-specialist counselling for those living with, and those living alongside, Asperger’s syndrome and autism whose lives have become adversely affected by their experience.

How we do it

AfA’s qualified counsellors specialise academically and/or experientially in autism and Asperger counselling. AfA’s counselling rooms double-up as sensory therapy spaces; we believe in looking after our clients’ sensory sense of self as well as their emotional self, and in autism, the two are frequently found to be entwined.
