Our Mission

We support and connect people in the North East and Cumbria at every step of their HIV journey. Finding out that you, or a loved one, are living with HIV can be a huge shock. Whether it’s providing help to come to terms with the diagnosis, peer mentoring, rebuilding confidence or becoming part of a supportive community, Blue Sky Trust provides a confidential and safe place to “find strength and go on with happiness”.

How we do it

We support adults and children affected by HIV to come to terms with an HIV diagnosis, manage stigma and discrimination, improve wellbeing and plan for the future. We do this through a range of confidential services including; one to one support, peer support groups, peer mentoring, courses for the newly diagnosed and courses for those who have experienced trauma.
