Our Mission

We want to ensure that all children in the North East who have been diagnosed with autism, have access to the support and care that they and their families need.
We want to be there for the children, parents and family members who feel lost and alone at the time of diagnosis and provide positive early intervention, support and care to those families.

How we do it

Our early intervention centre allows us not only the appropriate space to deliver communication and socialisation for those children who find the world we live in a scary place, but also a place to host workshops, offer a shoulder of support to parents/carers & siblings.
Our qualified early intervention play workers are highly skilled in unlocking the potential of the children we work with.
Our Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists & Music Therapy provides practical support to all members of the family offering positive options to move forward in a world that can often become closed off and lonely.

The Toby Henderson Trust has been & continues to be a lifeline of support for me for me and my son. When my son was first diagnosed he could not talk, was completely lost & I felt helpless. The Toby Henderson Trust was there to help when no one could. Imagine my amazement and utter joy when in one of his 1st sessions, my lovely Joe actually said his 1st ever word - Joe's Mum.
