Our Mission

We will put the victim at the heart of everything we do, increasing support to the most vulnerable and those persistently targeted.

How we do it

Victims First Northumbria are a charitable organisation set up in 2015 to support victims of crime across the entire Northumbria region.
We support victims to both cope and recover from the harm caused and the wider effect of this.

The support provided is bespoke to each person and is based on individual needs and circumstances, generally our support will fall into four main areas: Initial emotional and practical support including signposting, more detailed/longer term emotional and practical support, support and referrals to existing specialist services, and access to and the facilitation of Restorative Justice
